Leadership & executive coach · Online and in person, worldwide

Leadership coaching for the part of leading no one trained you for.

You were promoted because you’re good at the work. Now the job is people, and they don’t come with a manual. I help managers, founders and executives lead with more self-awareness, so their teams can own more and they can stop carrying everything.

Sound familiar?

Your team sees the front of house. We work on the back.

Every hotel has two sides: the lobby guests see, and the corridors where the real work gets done. Leadership runs the same way. Most training polishes the lobby. I go behind the door to find what’s causing the problem.

Front of houseWhat everyone can see
Back of houseWhat we’d work on together
What everyone seesYou’re first in, last out, and still behind.
What we work onIt’s hard to trust work to anyone else, so it all comes back to you.
What everyone seesYour team keeps bringing you decisions they could make themselves.
What we work onNo one has been shown what they own, or been trusted to own it.
What everyone seesThe same difficult conversation keeps going badly.
What we work onYour communication style and theirs don’t match, and nobody has named it.
What everyone seesGood people go quiet, or leave.
What we work onThey don’t feel valued or trusted, and you may not know why.
What everyone seesYou’re exhausted and starting to dread Monday.
What we work onYou’re managing everyone’s stress except your own.

How coaching works

From “this won’t work” to a team that owns its work

  1. We have a coffee chat

You tell me what’s going on. I ask a lot of questions. By the end, we both know whether coaching is the right fit.

  2. We find the root cause

We look at your leadership style, how you communicate and how you delegate. Early sessions go deep, because symptoms come back if the cause stays put.

  3. You practice, and we follow up

New skills only stick with consistency. You try things with your real team, then we look at what happened and adjust.

Why Stephanie

A counselor’s ear and an operator’s experience

I started as a server, climbed the hotel ladder, burned out, and went back to school to study what I’d always been drawn to: listening. Then I realized the two halves belonged together.

I understand budgets, schedules and pressure from the inside. I also understand what stress and insecurity do to people at work. Most coaches bring one of those. You get both.

Questions

Before you book

What does a leadership coach do?

A leadership coach helps you understand how you lead, spot what’s getting in your way and practice better habits with your real team. Coaching is about you changing how you work. I won’t just hand you a report and leave.

Who is your coaching for?

Managers, directors, founders and executives who feel stretched, are leading people for the first time or at a bigger level, or know their team could do more. I have deep roots in hotels and restaurants, and I work with leaders from many industries.

Do you coach online or in person?

Both. I work with leaders online, wherever they are, and I can travel to you anywhere in the world.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. My counseling training shapes how I listen, but coaching focuses on your work and your goals as a leader. It isn’t therapy or a substitute for mental health treatment. If therapy would serve you better, I’ll say so.

What happens on the coffee chat?

It’s a free 30-minute video call. You share what’s going on, I ask questions, and we talk through what might help. If we’re a good fit, I’ll explain how working together would look. If we aren’t, I’ll tell you.

Tell me what’s going on. We’ll start there.

A coffee chat is a free, 30-minute, no-pressure conversation online about what you’re dealing with and whether coaching is the right next step.
